Nicola Daniel writes on behalf of the long-time SRF administrator.
2007 is shaping up to be a year of significant changes within the New Zealand superannuation industry with tax changes and the introduction of KiwiSaver.
Jacques Martin New Zealand Limited remains committed to the superannuation business. However, these changes have provided both challenges and opportunities and a need for Jacques Martin to refocus its business and move out of the administration of corporate superannuation schemes.
As a result, we must regretfully say goodbye to the Seafarers Retirement Fund after a long and valued relationship that goes back many years.
There have been a number of staff from Jacques Martin who have been associated with the Fund over this time too many to name individually. However special mention should be made of Maria Kane who has worked tirelessly and with enthusiasm in the role of administrator for over 5 years, and to my predecessor Jan Barber in the position of Scheme Manager.
On behalf of the team at Jacques Martin, I would like to thank the Trustees for all their support over the years. Its been a pleasure working with them and I wish them and the members of the Seafarers Retirement Fund well for the future.

Nicola Daniel and Garry Parsloe look over some of the history of JMs involvement with the SRF.
